1,000hp Toyota Supra can’t handle the weight and blows a tire on the dyno

Sure, traction issues happen all of the time on the street or track but what you might not have known is that when some of these cars get to spinning big numbers, traction issues have been known to pop up on the dyno as well as the tires seem to just want to spin faster than the roller will allow.

In order to combat spinning, folks will throw a couple of their buddies in the trunk of the car, hoping to hold it down and gain traction where there was previously not enough of it in order to get themselves a more accurate reading on the charts.

For the owner of this Toyota Supra, he found himself in just that predicament so he decided to throw a couple buddies in the trunk and see if the car would lay down a better number. What happens next is something that we would venture to say probably caught him off guard just a little bit.

Check out the footage below as the weight and power combine to put too much stress on the rear end of the Supra which makes one of the tires cave in suddenly. It leaves one to wonder what was going through the minds of the guys sitting in the back when they heard that loud pop.
