Beaching Your Boat on a Whole New Level!

When you think of beaching a boat, you probably think of a smaller vessel running aground and hanging out on the shore for a day without having to worry about legitimately docking it. However, the picture painted here probably isn’t exactly what goes on you in your head when you think of this phenomenon.

What we’re witnessing in this one is none other than a massive tanker bringing itself to solid ground. Now, why would such a big ship be put in a situation like this? That’s probably the next thing that you’re wondering about because it all seems like one big and bad accident. Well, you see, generally when you see something like this happening it’s because the boat has found its way past its useful life and is heading straight to the graveyard.

We would have to assume that the situation here as the result of what happened when the ship has seen better days and needs to be reverted back to scrap metal. In either case, it’s pretty amazing to watch as this giant vessel built for the water slowly brings its way on to the shore.
