Behind the Scenes: Science of Loops | Hot Wheels

As kids, we were always infatuated when our Hot Wheels cars would be launched upside down through loops and managed to stick to the track, coming out of the other side unscathed.

How come, however, the are cars able to do this without falling to the ground? Today, we dive inside with a little bit of science to figure it out.

Between the fighting forces of gravity and inertia, the cars will struggle to make it through the upside down obstacle, but with enough force, anything is possible.
