Duramax Silverado Chalks up 1.2-Million Miles in 7 Years

What is the most amount of mileage that you’ve ever gotten out of a car? For most, a couple of hundred thousand miles is difficult to come by, but Hugh and Tammy Pennington say otherwise with their super high mileage Duramax.

This couple’s Chevrolet Silverado has clocked in at a tad over 1.2-million miles and is most definitely still kicking. The best part is that the truck wasn’t used for light work either, as much of its life was spent hauling heavy duty travel trailers.

Check out the truck in the video below that has chalked up an average of an astonishing 474 miles per day, every day for six years! That is a heck of a lot of driving if you ask us. The couple is still in possession of the truck and it will be interesting to see just how far this beast can go!
