When you’re in the process of putting together an engine, an engine dyno can be a useful tool to tell you where you stand when it comes to power at the crank.

This time, when this 557 cubic inch engine fired up on the engine dyno and began its pull, we were bombarded with a little surprise that nobody expected.

Mid-pull, the engine decided to release a giant cloud of fire, causing a ruckus on the dyno after breaking a fuel line fitting and melting the wiring harness.

While the result might appear to be catastrophic, it only caused minimal damage and this 2800hp powerplant can be expected to be seen in a car soon!
