If There Was Ever a Place To Beat The Crap Out Of Your Truck, This is The Spot!

Boys, this one hurts to watch! Talk about putting your truck through a torture test! This could be one of the most insane sections of track we’ve ever laid eyes on!

A couple hundred feet of parallel logs laid out like some version of Hell’s Speedbumps may not sound too bad, but as you can see when this off-road truck hits them, even at a fairly low speed, they beat this poor truck halfway to death. The truck pops high into the air, bouncing at odd angles and landing hard between each log. However, slowing down doesn’t really help because the mud between each log means the driver has to carry enough speed to bounce the tires up and over each of the obstacles.

You can hear the driver skillfully working the throttle – or perhaps just doing the best he can to get through the brutal section of the course – to push his truck to the limits while also probably beating himself to death inside the truck’s roll cage. He managed to make pretty decent time and, shockingly, doesn’t appear to break anything, which is a testament to the truck’s durability and probably a little luck.

Trucks like this are certainly built to withstand a beating, but this is asking a lot out of even the beefiest of suspension components. Watching this ride bounce precariously like this through the logs and not snap parts left and right is truly a sight to see, and I can’t help but be amazed at the crazy angles and insane stress these parts are able to withstand.

I can’t help but feel sorry for the driver himself too, as he’s being tossed around like a rag doll inside the truck. There’s no way to tighten a harness tight enough to keep you completely still in the seat while this kind of bouncing is going on, and if nothing else, his head has to be beating against the bars built to protect him.
