Is It Possible To Freeze Anti-Freeze?

When it comes to keeping your car cool, anti-freeze is the chemical that you go to. With a composition that allows it to reach an incredibly high and low temperature without evaporating or freezing, it tends to be versatile in a variety of situations.

Now, even though the chemical is designed not to freeze in the harshest of winter conditions around the world, is there a point where it actually freezes into a solid? This time, we set out with “The King of Random” to put anti-freeze up against liquid nitrogen to see what happens.

Will the chemical freeze rock solid? Will it turn into some sort of snow? Perhaps we will have some sort of thick gel on our hands to deal with once the liquid gets down to a certain temperature where it just can’t seem to maintain its state any longer.

This might be some basic science at the end of the day, however, that isn’t to say the result is any less interesting. Tune in and watch as this everyday chemical is put through some tests to see exactly what happens to it under all kinds of different conditions. After watching this, you might have an all new found appreciation for what’s operating under your hood!
