Kid Gets Dropped Off at School in the COOLEST Way Possible!

When it comes to arriving in school in style, there’s no cooler way than rolling up in a badass hotrod, especially one that’s this clean and sounds so nasty!

Based on the comments on the video, this gorgeous 1941 Willys belongs to a fella by the name of Steve, who decided to drop off his son at school in the recently-completed car. We don’t know any details about the build, but it’s a safe bet that there’s a stout big block resting underneath that iconic wedge shaped hood, based on the cam thumping through the fender exit exhaust.

Watching the car roll up from down the street, you can’t help but grin knowing the young man inside is certainly bursting with pride. I remember when I was a kid, my parents always had show cars that I would get to ride in and it was so cool meeting other enthusiasts every time we’d stop. We even had a couple of Willys similar to this one, though both of our had blown big blocks. One was a full-time show car that didn’t see too much street use, but the other one was often the ride of choice for a quick trip to to or a local cruise in. I don’t remember ever getting dropped off at school in either of the Willys’, but I do remember getting dropped off in a mint 1963 Impala. The car was seafoam green and was a four speed 409 big block car, and my dad told me I could have it if I wanted it, but I was 13 or 14 and really didn’t realize just how cool that car was. I still regret turning that car down.
