When it comes to improvements in automotive technology, we’ve made leaps and bounds recently. Heck, we’re even getting close to a completely self-driving car.

This time, Land Rover has come up with an autonomous system that has a little bit of a twist, it’s not completely automatic and for a good reason.

Instead of the car driving itself, this system will allow the driver to hop outside of the vehicle and control it from their smartphone, much like a giant remote control car.
