Race Truck Fly Over A Spectator at Baja 1000

When it comes to folks behind the camera trying to get a shot, there’s the reserved, those willing to go all out to get the shot, and then there’s this guy.

When trying to get a shot of the trucks flying down the course at Baja 1000, this guy thought that it would be a good idea to lay in a hole beyond a jump.

While, in theory, if everything worked out for him, this would create a pretty cool shot, in practice, it’s just an all around bad idea.

As you can see, the guy nearly gets himself run over as a truck slows down before hitting the jump. We’re presuming that he slowed after seeing the man laying in the hole. Check out the video below as this DIY camera man goes above and beyond to try and get his ideal shot.
