Ryan Newman and Grainger Team up to Make Kits for Families in Need of Disaster Relief

In this world, you can never guarantee what’s going to happen next. Even if you set up yourself in a situation where most of your worries seem to wash away, natural disaster can strike anywhere at any time and absolutely no human being is exempt from being hit by these kinds of situations that can shake just about anybody to their core as not only is your livelihood at risk but also your life itself is put in danger as situations like the Sonoma/Napa fires seem to come in hard and fast without much warning, really wreaking havoc everywhere that they meet life.

Now, in situations like these, thankfully, many times, people will step in to help out one another. It’s definitely an important part of our humanity as everybody needs a helping hand at some point in time and if you’re blessed enough to be able to have something to offer, offering it up can mean the world to somebody else. Because this is a message that doesn’t necessarily get out there as much as it should, it’s important that people who have a big stage to stand on not only help out the community themselves but also help to raise awareness and set an example as to what someone can do in order to help out their neighbor.

If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll be able to catch up with Ryan Newman and the Grainger team as they go above and beyond, helping out in the community as they put together care packages for families in need of disaster relief. It might seem like a fairly simple task, however, when somebody is focusing on putting their life back together and picking up the pieces, something like one of these care packages could certainly prove to be an incredibly helpful hand in your time of need.

The No. 31 #GraingerRacing team with Ryan Newman is teaming up with the American Red Cross to pack 500 kits filled with essentials for folks who may need assistance in times of need during a disaster. Thanks to all the first responders and organizations like ARC and the track who helped with the recovery efforts during the Sonoma/Napa fires. Thank you! Richard Childress Racing Sonoma Raceway
