If you are looking to purchase a variety of things in the market these days, for most of them, there is always the option to forego the retail process and simply build it yourself. Now, many times, as you’re buying proprietary designs, this might not always be possible but if you consider something like a simple remote control boat, the option to build one for yourself is definitely very much viable and could be something that just about anybody with a little bit of handy ability and a decent set of tools could be able to accomplish.

This time, we check out the video that showcases just that is one individual decided to take it upon himself to create his very own electric remote control boat. As you can see from the very first glimpse of the boat, it looks like the entire thing was made completely from scratch, hull and all, as it has quite a unique look when it’s out there in the water and zips around a little bit. Sure, something bought straight off of the shelf might be a little bit more engineered to carry out the task effectively but something like this has to be incredibly rewarding to maneuver around out there.

If you follow along with the video below, you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of a homemade boat doing what it does best. Who knows? Maybe this thing still a couple more steps left in it and the person behind it is going to do a little bit more tweaking to make this thing rip even faster out there. Either way, as this thing sits, it’s something to be proud of as not everybody has the talent and patience necessary to create something like this instead of going the easier route of buying it.
