This new designed skull protector called the Skully AR-1 just might look like a normal helmet, this “world’s smartest motorcycle helmet” will definitely do way more than keep your cranium safe. With a only a month left in its Indiegogo campaign, this smart helmet has raised over $800,000 and is still counting. The AR-1 has a rear camera, and has a badass “heads-up display” that shows vehicle information such as fuel and speed. The AR-1 also has caller ID and directions — this is all within the bikers (or racecar drivers) line of sight.

The AR-1 boasts nine hours of function on one charge, according to Skully Systems. This high tech helmet is now certified for use in the U.S. and everywhere else in the world by the Department of Transport and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.

This high tech helmet also connects with a smartphone via Bluetooth to show the information that is displayed in the visor. For GPS, this helmet can connect to the Internet using your smartphone, if you do not have a phone on you it can use an on-board map storage just incase you are not able to connect to the web!

Every ounce of this technology does not come with a small price tag. If you are wanting to buy a Skully AR-1 you need to shell out $1,399 to pre-order a helmet via Indiegogo.
