So Much Turbo! Didn’t Need that Hood Anyway…

If late model GM V8 power is your thing, then Holley LS Fest West is the place that you want to be because it really brings together everything powered by an LS to one convenient location in Las Vegas to go at it in a variety of different challenges from off-roadin to drag racing to drifting and even a little bit of autocross sprinkled into the mix. This time, we’re taking a look at the drag strip portion of things with a rowdy little Mustang.

Originally, this Ford Mustang obviously had blue oval power under the hood but since then, it has undergone a heart transplant to receive some General Motors love thanks to a 416 ci LSX topped with a bunch of goodies that will make your head spin including everything from the heads, cam, and intake all the way to a pair of 76 mm Precision turbos that really make this machine eat when it heads out to the track!

In this BigKleib34 flick, we get the chance to stop by and have a chat with the owner as he explains the trials and tribulations of attempting to get something with this much power to really hook up out there on the strip along with seeing just how quickly this thing is able rocket from point-A to point-B as they sit 1/4 mile away from each other. Even though the car is very much in a tweaking and development stage, the results that we see out there on the track are nothing short of impressive.

This thing most certainly was a crowd favorite with all of the goodies hanging out of the engine bay and the pair of turbos that come along for the ride to make things even more interesting. Be sure to check this one out down in the video below and tell us what you think of how this boosted monster comes to life and really rockets down the drag strip. These guys are off to a heck of a start and it will be interesting to see where this car lands when they get it to a place where they are happy with how everything is dialed in.
