Street Outlaws Daddy Dave Racing Out At Redemption No Prep In TEXAS

Street Outlaws star “Daddy Dave” Comstock and his nasty Nova he calls Goliath are both crowd favorites and favorites to win pretty much any race they show up at. When the Redemption No Prep tour rolled into the brand new Xtreme Raceway Park in Ferris, Texas, Dave and his hotrod were definitely expected to do well and compete for the winner’s share of the purse.

First up, we see Dave making a solo hit as his completion, the Bakers Hotrods Impala driven by Larry Baker appears to have broken in the burnout. Goliath launches hard but Dave has to lift around halftrack, although he still got the win due to Baker being parked on the starting line.

Up next, Dave has some stiff competition in the form of Steve Wiley’s insane blown S10. However, even the massive supercharger sticking through the hood of the pickup isn’t enough to drive Wiley around Dave’s Nova, and Comstock moves on to the next round.

However, the fun would come to an early end there when Dave ran into the always-tough Bird Boyz Racing Ford Probe from Street Outlaws New Orleans. While the Bird Boyz’ hotrod was notoriously unpredictable on the show, they’ve since ironed out the kinks and had the car working well on these unprepped surfaces for a while now, and as you can see in this video from the Drag Addicts channel, they managed to just nose out Dave at the finish line in a great side-by-side drag race.

Both cars launch hard and make full 1/8th mile passes, welded door-to-door for the while 660 feet. It’s impossible to tell from the stands who won and the fans have to wait for the win light on the scoreboard to reveal that the left land did take the win.

Look for Dave and Goliath to be back at the next no prep race ready to take on the field again, especially looking for that blue Ford to exact a little events on the Bird Boyz.
