Tempers Flying and Fists Clinching in the NHRA Pro Sock Pits

If we’re talking about drag racing, you might wonder what there is to argue about. After all, it’s not like you’re battling for position and have drivers running into one another, right? Well, I think that when it comes to the behind the scenes during race weekend, you might be a little bit shocked at what actually goes on.

As it turns out, spending countless race days with other NHRA drivers might not always end in a smooth transaction as I’m sure that words are exchanged and feelings are hurt as tempers flare in this high-octane sport that has drivers battling for every last tenth of a second out there on the racing surface.

This time, we get a little bit of a behind-the-scenes look at what exactly drivers might do when they get to the point where they just aren’t having anymore and find the need to unleash all that anger on somebody or something. Let’s just hope that after all of this is said and done, that everyone can come to a solution!
