The Tesla Model S P85D has been spanking a lot of reputable sports cars, but this time, the game is taken to a whole new level when the electric vehicle lines up with debatably one of the fastest in the game, the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

With a slightly better reaction time, and better 60-foot time thanks to the AWD system, the Tesla is able to edge out the Corvette in the quarter mile drag race, but according to the owner, the Vette was quickly reeling him in!

Check out the video below as the electric car simply has a little bit too much for the Corvette to handle. This one came down to the wire, but the Tesla clearly has the American icon’s number this time!
