The 007 Cadillac is Back in Radial vs the World With a New Personal Best

Scott Lowery has had one of the most unique and purely badass Radial vs the World cars in the world for a few years now. Scott’s Cadillac XLR stands out, even in a class like RvsW that’s chock full of cool and unique rides. Having checked this car out in person several times, I can tell you it is a work of art in every way. You can see pretty quickly that the car has a perfect stance and looks completely wicked on the track, but under the hood is all business.

The car is powered by a Moran Racing Engines twin turbo hemi that should crank out around 4,000 horsepower, though the numbers on the new combination haven’t been released to my knowledge. The turbos are most likely twin 98mm snails, though under RvsW rules, he could run up to 106mm and even larger, though there is a bit of a weight penalty for running the monster compressors. When we find out more about the combo, we’ll update you guys.

Little details about the car really stand out, like the fact that it’s capable of running in the 3-second zone and will almost certainly run in excess of 200 MPH soon, yet still has functional power windows. As far as I’ve been able to tell, the body from the doors back is actual Cadillac bodywork, including the retractable roof, which is obviously no longer retractable.

Lowery has been a fixture in RvsW for several years, but stepped away for a bit to update and upgrade his hotrod. With the ET’s dropping on each pass, except for the next to last run when the car bobbled a bit off the line, it’s clear Scott has good power and a good handle on the tune, so now it’s just a matter of dialing it in, adding more power where the track will hold it, and continuing to lower those ET’s. Congrats to Lowery and his crew for dipping into the 3’s for the first time. That’s certainly no easy feat!
