When the Ford GT finally made its long-awaited return with the debut of the 2017 model of the car, the pages of the internet were just about set on fire with excitement around the new model.

This time, Ford made another announcement regarding the GT: the brand’s flagship car will be returning to competition in the 24 hours of LeMans in 2016.

While we still have to wait another year to catch it in action, today we’re given a quick glimpse of what the racecar will look like come 2016.
