The first 2017 Ford GT has rolled off the assembly line. Are you ready?

In the world of supercars, Ford decided to drop a bombshell by bringing back one of its most revered nameplates in the Ford GT in the year 2017 and in just a couple of days, the calendars will turn forward, bringing in the new year and the new GT.

As of now, we all know what the car will look like and know that Ford has made the controversial decision to ditch the v8 in favor of a 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbocharged v6 so all that’s left to do is get the dance underway and everything is right on schedule.

This time, we get a little bit of an inside peek at the end of the assembly line as Ford has managed to get the first couple of 2017 GTs out and rolling and we get to see the footage behind the action as the latest and greatest GT finally breathes enough life to hit the streets in style!
