The New Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk With 707HP is Officially The Most Powerful SUV

Fiat Chrysler is wasting little time in dropping yet another game-changing ride on the automotive industry. First the supercharged Hellcat Challenger and and Charger shook the industry with their rowdy 707 horsepower blown Hemis that immediately became the benchmark for badass in today’s horsepower war between Dodge, Chevrolet and Ford.

Then they dropped the Demon on us and obliterated any notion of what is possible for a production car to do in the quarter mile if the car is built with quarter mile performance in mind, with the Demon’s ability to reach 60 MPH in just 2.3 seconds and blitz the quarter in under 10 seconds, all in a car you can buy off the showroom floor.

Now, Dodge has dropped the Hellcat’s drivetrain into an AWD Grand Cherokee and produced the quickest SUV on the planet, the Trackhawk. With the same 707 HP on tap and all wheel drive, the massive hauler actually beats the Hellcat Charger to 60 MPH from a standing start and runs as fast as 180 MPH before wind resistance overcomes the horsepower. We don’t know yet what the Trackhawk will cost, but we can’t imagine it will be too cheap, but how do you put a price on this kind of badass performance in a ride you can haul your kids and groceries in at the same time?
