Because a go kart is a simple machine, most them are a rear-wheel-drive setup. It’s as easy as getting a small and lightweight frame, combining it with an engine and strapping it to a rear axle to push the rear tires along and have yourself a good time with the kart.

This time, however, we check out something a little bit more complicated as someone goes out of their way to create a front-wheel-drive go kart with the help of two engines to propel each of the front wheels. The setup is pretty wacky looking as it basically just has the two engines hanging off of the front end of the kart but it does look to be effective to an extent.

Outside of potentially skinning your knee on the moving parts of one of the engines, the thing looks like it’s a pretty solid build. Check out the odd looking machine down below and ride along with a GoPro camera then be sure to tell us what you think of this design that might be the first of its kind.
