2017 SCORE International Baja 1000 Champion Takes It To A New Level With BFGoodrich Tires!

There are all kinds of motorsports that you can pick from and Baja might be one of the most brutal. These vehicles are put through the wringer, absolutely being completely hounded on as the suspension and the entire drivetrain have to come together to make magic happen all while being put through their paces, but all this is being done at intense temperatures in the dry, hot desert that really is no form of forgiving as it really tests out not only the equipment but also the driver behind the wheel as they are forced to deal with conditions as they come. All of this really makes you appreciate the victory all that much more.

This time, we take a moment to watch Apdaly Lopez  work those BFGoodrich tires and flex the skills that helped him finish the International Baja 1000, in 19 hours 53 minutes and 36 seconds and covering 1134.4-mile course. Even thinking about racing a course that long makes me incredibly exhausted and I know that this team really had to be ready to kick back and take a nap after that experience. So many factors need to come together and with all kinds of teams competing for gold, it’s not necessarily something that we would consider to be easy to make your way all the way to the front of the pack, climbing over others in the process.

In this one, you can follow along to see exactly what Apdaly Lopez’s truck looks like in action and see a little bit of flavor from the father and son team that managed to finish just after sunrise in the RPM off-road trophy truck. Hats off to the crew as they piloted their way through the night atop those BFG Performance tires and made their way to the daylight once again with the entire pack lingering on behind them.

Ladies and gents, this is your 2017 SCORE International #Baja1000 champion. Watch Apdaly Lopez work those #BFGoodrich tires and flex the skills that helped him finish the 1134.40-mile course in 19 hours 53 minutes and 36 seconds. The father-son team, and local favorites, finished just after sunrise in the RPM Offroad Trophy Truck. #BFGRacing
