This is the first time this 917 engine has started in 30 years!

While it would be nice to think that all respected cars get their fair share of regular maintenance and care, that doesn’t always happen to be the way of the world. Unfortunately, some cars are left to sit and rot.

That was the case for this Porsche 917 but after 30 years of sitting, someone came across it who was interested in bringing it back to life so bring it back to life they did and we’re able to ride along in the garage as the process unfolds.

It might take a little bit of tweaking and effort but after just a touch of TLC that this car deserves, it’s able to be fired right back up and grumble just like we’re sure that it did in days of old.
