This new locking radiator cap is absolutley genius

When you get into the nitty gritty of putting together a vehicle designed to race, there are a lot of things to cover. From top to bottom, everything has to be gone through with a fine-tooth comb to see if it’s up to par or not.

One obstacle that a racer might come across is that of a radiator cap coming loose or flying off at the worst possible time, putting a car and driver in danger if fluids get moving around.

When surfing the web, we came across a pretty neat radiator cap design that strives to put a halt to this problem with a locking mechanism that should be more than enough to prevent it from flying off mid-race.
