If the future pans out in the way that Dale Earnhardt Jr. plans it to, there might never be another Earnhardt in NASCAR racing again. He has publicly gone on record saying that he’s not necessarily going to push his kids into the sport and would honestly prefer that they stay away from actual racing and perhaps stick to something a little bit safer, whether it be a part of NASCAR or not. However, even if the Earnhardt legacy remains as just a legacy and nothing more, the father and son combo that has really taken the sport to a new level has done so much for NASCAR that anything else really would just be a cherry on top. From all of the moments that they have left behind that really have given us something to sink our teeth into, everybody who’s a fan of this form of racing has to really be appreciative for all that the family has done.
