Grudge racing is a complicated game. If you’re one of those people who thinks you can just go out there, buy a whole bunch of parts, throw some money down, and win some races to get some of that cash back then, boy oh boy, are you about to get schooled. If you’re out there talking smack and trying to run for money, you had better be armed with some knowledge because if you don’t have a good understanding of exactly what’s happening around you, well, there’s a good chance that you’re going to get that money snatched right out of your pocket and by the time it happens, you won’t even know what hit you.
Sure, we all live and learn, no matter what aspect of life we’re talking about but, if you’re out there racing with your own money and don’t have a money tree growing in your backyard, grudge racing would be a good way to put yourself in a nice little hole. This time, we flash back all the way to 2011 to the situation that had Big Chief going head-to-head with Peteyboy and this race seems to be more talking than it is actual racing. A lot of times, grudge races can be won in the pits before the race even starts. If someone’s a good negotiator, they can find a way to take money right out of your hand without you even knowing how they did it.
Follow along with the Big Rob Entertainment video below that gives us a nice little throwback featuring Flip’s Chevrolet El Camino as Big Chief takes on Peteyboy in this jaw jacking throwdown that Has about 6 and a half minutes of setting up a race before the actual race unfolds in last just a couple of seconds. Grudge racing isn’t for the faint of heart so if you’re not ready to watch this negotiation go down, we would recommend changing that state of mind!
