In this day and age, it’s a chore to really figure out what’s going to be fast and what isn’t. Just when you think that you have everything figured out, something sneaks up on you and smacks you in the back of the head.

This time, we check out a pair of cars that we would think would be pretty easy to decipher based on the equipment that they’re hooked up with, but we are definitely wrong!

With a big tire, a big block, and nitrous, the gutted Chevrolet Bel Air featured in this video would seem to have somewhat of an advantage over the small tire twin turbo Ford Mustang, but that simply isn’t the case as the Mustang takes two races and a cool $1000 with each pass.

Check out the video below that shows off both of the races then puts a mean Chevrolet Corvette up against the killer ‘stang! While it’s hard for a Mustang to be a sleeper, this full interior car is most definitely a bit quicker than it looks!
