Unbelievable Save by Top Fuel Harley Rider Mike Pelride! How Did he Keep this Bike Upright at 200 mph?

It’s no secret that, if you pull the front wheel up on your motorcycle, you lose all steering ability. How are you going to control where it’s going without having the wheel that the handlebars are connected to making contact with anything at all except for the air in front of you?

Normally, when you’re doing a wheelie, you can just set it down but this time, we catch up with a little bit more uncontrollable situation as a Top Fuel Harley rider, Mike Pelride, does and an unintentional wheelie down the track all the way to about 200 mph where he can’t keep control of his bike any longer.

It’s quite stressful to watch this clip as the car wanders closer and closer to the centerline as Mike attempts to regain control and get the bike going in the right direction again but at the same time, he doesn’t want to get out of the throttle and lose his position either.

It’s really amazing to watch as he’s able to regain control of the bike even after the front wheel touches down and makes a smoke show as the ground that’s moving by at 200mph isn’t so accepting of the sideways tire. You have to see this wonder to truly understand how he got that lucky.
