Imagine walking down the street and seeing a Volkswagen towing a trailer. Not too odd of a scene, right? Now imagine it going backward at full speed!

That was exactly the concept in mind when Volkswagen was in the lab, concocting a way to market their new technology that claims to make backing up a trailer completely simple.

By transforming the trailer into a drivable machine and essentially making the Volkswagen SUV the “trailer” in the situation, they were able to carry out what we think is quite a genius way to get your point across.

We’re not sure about you, but if we saw this thing flying down the street, out first reaction would be to pull our phones out and start making videos of it! Maybe they should have included a prominent logo here!
