In the landscape of customs that you see beefed up and ready to race, it isn’t all that often that you see a Volkswagen Bus hit the scene.

This time, we creep up on a VW Bus that has a little something that’s kept secret behind the back doors. We’ll give you a clue: it has a lot of cubic inches and probably grumbles like a monster.

You guessed it, this Bus has a big block Chevrolet stacked in the back and at the ready to turn this thing from hippie van to race day competitor.
