When Street Outlaws Chuck Isn’t Street Racing He is Doing This… Classic!

We’ve seen him behind the wheel of the Death Trap and we’ve seen him in the crowd talking smack to other racers, but there’s a side of Street Outlaws star Chuck that we don’t see on Discovery Channel.

In the short clip below, Chuck is making an appearance at a North Carolina elementary school while in the area for an appearance, where his outgoing personality shines. Keeping the Edgewood Elementary School students laughing with his antics, Chuck puts on a clinic in Dabbing, and even takes a moment to learn a new dance from one of the students in Mrs. Wendy Phipps’ fourth grade class, promising her to show off his new moves next time he wins a race on the show.

This is just a glimpse of what goes on in and around Oklahoma City as well as areas they visit for out of town races and appearances when the cameras aren’t rolling. The stars of the show often work within the community to give back, knowing without the support of the local citizens they could easily be looking for somewhere else to host their race nights. Chuck taking time out of his schedule to spend with kids in class shows how important working with local communities is to these guys, most of whom have kids of their own, and how dedicated they are to getting kids interested in the sport.

While they certainly spend plenty of time arguing and street racing, the guys from the 405 are aware of how important the youth is to keeping the sport of drag racing as a whole growing. While they built their fame on the streets, they also spend a lot of time on the drag strip, and that is where most of these kids will go to participate if they take an interest in the sport we all love. Many fans fail to see how many first-time fans come to the track to see their favorite cars from the show, only to fall in love with the sport itself and instantly become long-term fans of the sport itself. The Street Outlaws have brought countless new fans to the sport thanks to moments like this!
