As gearheads, our rides don’t come without accessories. One of the bigger accessories might be the places that we’re going to store and work on said rides. All jokes aside, the garage is a very important place for anyone who’s invested in anything with wheels. There’s a lot more to consider than if one wants a one or two-car garage. Sure, for the average person, somewhere to park at night is probably all that they’re thinking about. For many of us, though, it goes much deeper than that.
It might not seem like a decision that’s all too difficult from the get-go. However, after talking to people who have been through it, there are some unlikely aspects to consider. For example, one might not think of how exactly they’re going to outfit their garage before building. After all, we don’t want to just have a big empty box. Lots of cabinetry and shelving is going to be a must. Accommodating for the proper amount of storage is a must.
