All-Weather Boats Handle Insanely Rough Storm – “Rock Bouncers of the Sea”

Hope you’re ready to be stressed out.

Those among us who have any level of experience with boating will likely tell us that it’s wise to only go out in the best of conditions. Most boaters will probably avoid heading away from the dock if there’s so much as a threat of a thunderstorm. Out there on the water, things can evolve in a hurry and before one knows it, they could be stuck in a very dangerous situation.

However, for Frank Kowalski, he basically welcomes the adverse conditions. With the help of his XSV20 “Thunder Child II,” he takes on the roughest of seas. The vessel has been developed especially with the thought of taking on the rough seas while not taking on water.

This time, Kowalski is joined by an Interceptor 48 all-weather pilot boat by the name of “Maskulin,” piloted by one Tommy Fonnes, who has similar ideas in mind.

In this one, we get to watch an intense adrenaline rush unfold. As the boats hit the water for a rough sea trial, we can’t help but think that the worst is going to happen. After all, at the end of the day, most conditions like this would be ones that could absolutely swallow most vessels that get thrown at them. Luckily for these two, their boats are designed to handle anything that’s in store!

By following along with the video below, we get to spectate as the pair takes on a violent storm that hit the south coast of Ireland. From what we’re told, this was done in preparation for an upcoming voyage as to get in a bit of practice. While they were out and about testing, the two certainly managed to grab some rather insane footage along the way. This puts us on edge just watching. We can only imagine what it’s like to be behind the controls of one of these incredible machines!
