A first car is a special vehicle. It doesn’t matter if it’s a junker falling apart or a brand new ride. The most important part that most of us look back on are the memories. With that said, there are probably a heck of a lot of kids out there who wish that their first car could be a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. This time, we meet up with someone who just so happened to live that reality.

For many of us, we end up parting ways with the cars somewhere along the way. This time, however, we find out that this graduation present wasn’t going anywhere. While the setups have come and gone, the machine would stay right where it belonged. Eventually, the lineage would lead the Camaro to a place where an LS power plant found its way under the hood. When combined with a turbo, this thing absolutely rips!

The LS might be a pretty common swap in racing but there’s a reason for that. At the end of the day, these things downright work. Not only do they make good power but they’re also reliable. It might’ve taken a little bit to get the bugs worked out but this Camaro is absolutely rolling!
