Ford Tough with Chevy Stuff - LSx Powered Mustangs Show off their Muscle!
When it comes to an engine swap that’s quite popular and also happens to stir the pot, Chevrolet’s LSx series is a set of engines that certainly has the ability to get that ball rolling. Due to its cheap cost and seemingly endless potential, it’s an engine that has made its way into just about any and every last platform that you could imagine from the drag strip to the skies and even plopped in boats along with just about everything else that you could imagine and even some things that you would probably never imagine finding an engine like this in.
This time, we ride along with the BigKleib34 flick that takes us on a trip to Holley LS Fest West out in Las Vegas to check out the collection of Ford Mustangs that were squared away with Chevrolet power as they manage to blast their way down the strip in both quarter mile an eighth mile formats, showing off the result of all of that time spent under the hood wrenching away and it’s a lot of fun to watch!
Usually, with videos like this, the comments will blow up with Chevy and Ford fans alike going at each other’s throats talking about whether or not a Chevy engine should be in the engine bay of a Ford and what’s faster. Personally, no matter what’s powering the ride, I can’t help but enjoy watching as high powered machines make their way down the drag strip with a vengeance, putting up impressive times on the boards to match the just as impressive setups under the hood.
If you check out the video below, you’ll get the chance to see all of these Chevy powered machines in action as well. Love them or hate them, it’s hard to denounce the dollar for dollar performance that you can get out of an LSx setup!
