How Do The Street Outlaws Pick What Lane They Are Racing In?

Lane choice is a big deal to some racers, and to others it doesn’t really matter. It can be used as a psychological weapon, or it can occasionally make a difference in the outcome of a race if the lanes aren’t prepped evenly.

Regardless of whether the advantage is mental or if there is an actual advantage to being in one lane or the other, there has to be a way to decide who chooses, and what better way than a good old fashioned coin flip? That’s exactly how the Street Outlaws crew decides who will choose lanes for each race night. So how do you decide who calls the coin flip? They’ve solved that problem too!

Whoever drove the farthest to race between the two drivers that are paired up gets to call the flip. Pretty simple and reasonable, wouldn’t you say? So now you know exactly what goes into deciding lane choice and how the decisions are made!
