Imagine Farmtruck, Except as a Diesel 4x4! CUMMINS SUPER SLEEPER
When you head out to the race track for a night of fun, you never really know what you’re going to get. As we’ve seen in the many BigKleib34 videos posted, Cecil County Dragway has really been known to bring out some of the most awesome vehicles to ever touch their tires to the race track. Sometimes, if you hit it just right, you’ll also catch up with an obscure vehicle that, while it might not look like it’s much, it ends up being all that and a bag of chips as it makes its way down the drag racing surface. This time, we check up with exactly one of those vehicles and it just so happens to be a heavyweight truck.
In this one, we get to check out none other than an old-school Dodge Ram, a truck from the early 90s that used to live out its life as a commercial concrete workhorse, racking up 600,000 miles on the clock before being repurposed into a pulling truck and then eventually finding its way to the drag strip where it will continue to live on.
As we hear in this one, the truck does have some aftermarket goodies on it but, for the most part, the modifications consist of factory components from other trucks and have kind of been sourced together in a scattered fashion kind of taking whatever parts that could be found laying around and applying them to one application.
If you follow along with the video down below, you’ll be able to catch up with the Ram that looks like something straight out of a Mad Maxx movie and, with a slick on each and every corner, manages the pound its way to a low 11-second pass in the quarter-mile. Unfortunately, on the second pass of the video, a front drive shaft breaks but a little birdie told us that this thing is going to be back and better than ever before long!
