Pink Floyd Drummer Nick Mason Crashes Near $4 Million Dollar McLaren F1 GTR
Whenever you head out to any sort of racing, the threat of a crash always hangs right over your head. Should anything fall out of place during a racing session, you have to prepare for the absolute worst to unfold because even though we would rather not think about it, situations like this are definitely a possibility as you can see here.
In this one, we catch up with a situation that has Pink Floyd drummer, Nick Mason, behind the wheel of a McLaren F1 GTR that is said to be valued right up near $4 million. When Mason lets the car get a little bit ahead of him, it just so happens that the tires slide out from under him and he ends up doing some damage as the car collided with the wall.
The 73-year-old Mason wasn’t physically injured but I would venture to say that it couldn’t feel good wrecking your car worth that much coin. That was the risk that he was willing to take, though, as the car was out there in harm’s way in the first place. Hopefully, Mason can find some way to patch this racing machine back up!
