Kye Kelley's Blistering Hit at the Small Tire Nationals!
Street Outlaws New Orleans star Kye Kelley unloaded his Shocker Camaro at the Small Tire Nationals, despite being on to make some shakedown runs and sort out the bugs in his new Pat Musi-powered combo.
With his lovely girlfriend, Musi’s daughter Lizzy, performing backup duties, Kelley laid down a burnout to heat his steamrollers before staging up to lay down a hit at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown Texas. When he dropped the hammer, however, traction proved limited for the McComb, Mississippi native. Kye had to pedal the throttle a couple of times before the car finally hooked up and he was able to streak to the finish line.
With over 900 inches of nitrous injected mountain motor on tap, we know Kelley has plenty of potential on tap, but that kind of power, the car is always going to be on the verge of losing traction. Hopefully he can tame the beast and get the car back to it’s front-running form.
