There are lots of people who have big collections of cars but there are very few car guys who are as well-known as Jay Leno and have a collection as impressive as his. If you tune into Jay Leno’s garage, you get the opportunity to not only see bits of his own collection, but also get to travel across the country with the late night legend and celebrity guests, checking out some of the coolest, weirdest, and most iconic cars that exist in the community today. One common thread throughout all of the episodes is that his vast knowledge of the subject matter will keep you thoroughly interested in the ins and outs of what makes these machines tick.

This time, Jay brings in another comedian in Gabriel Iglesias aka “Fluffy” and the duo are taking the liberty of checking out a car that never came into production but probably should have if you ask the majority of muscle car enthusiasts. Sure, Pontiac might have died off years ago but that isn’t to say that the brand is completely dead. With aftermarket companies like Trans Am Depot that put together cars like “The Bandit,” the late model rendition of the classic second generation Pontiac Trans Am, the brand surely lives on through the efforts of its biggest enthusiasts.

The video below will give you a little bit of a teaser of what you can expect to see as these two funny guys get together behind the wheel of a car that not too many folks have really had the opportunity to get up close and personal with. Seeing something like this modern day Bandit almost makes you wish that the Pontiac brand had never died. With all that General Motors has been up to as of late, they probably could have done some pretty radical things that the aftermarket has taken the liberty of doing after starting off with your average Chevrolet Camaro.
