If you’re a movie buff who also happens to be into the car world, something like this might just get you going on a lazy Sunday like today. Now, it’s easy to say for the majority of us gearheads, we have fallen in love with the Fast and Furious series, no matter how corny it might get. The story spans all over the world, taking us from places like Rio de Janeiro all the way to Japan and back. This time, we head to Japan to check out the a scene from the Fast and the Furious Tokyo drift that you might’ve missed out on if you saw the movie in theaters.

Many would probably agree that this flick is probably the weak link in the chain of the entire franchise as it really seemed to come off the cuff and not really make much sense at the time but in hindsight, it’s a pretty neat little novelty to watch. If you did enjoy the movie, something like this will come at you and make a lot of sense. After watching something like this scene, it makes you wonder why it wasn’t included in the movie in the first place. It really helps to link back to the idea that they’re in Japan and their culture there is a world away from what our main character expects as he came straight off the boat from the United States.

If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll be able to see the deleted scene known as the “Wasabi Bet.” If you’ve ever taken a mouth full of Wasabi, you know the pain that this one could’ve caused, but as it turns out, the main character managed to take it in stride! Now that’s how you win a bet. After checking this one out, be sure to tell us if you think it’s a scene that you would’ve liked to see included in the original movie.
