Where Does The Highest Paid Defensive Lineman in the NFL Spend His Free Time?
We dedicate all of our time to it with countless hours at the track or under the hood of a car and when we step away, one look at our Facebook timeline would indicate that every single person that we surround ourselves with also has the addiction to drag racing, the need for speed and can’t wait to get behind the wheel every time they have a chance.
With that in mind, it might seem like the racing world is quite massive and while it’s large in volume, we’re still a minority group. If you try talking to your neighbor about cars, there’s a good chance that you might lose him or her about five minutes into the conversation. That’s why, when we see some of our favorite celebrities and sports figures getting in on the action, we can’t help but be entirely attracted to the story.
If you have spent time following the drag radial racing scene, you might know that Philadelphia Eagle defensive lineman, Fletcher Cox, has been known to spend a lot of his free time in between workouts, practices, and games managing his racing team. While a physique and skill set worthy of $102 million over the next six years might keep him from being behind the wheel of his twin turbo Ford Mustang, that isn’t to say that Fletcher is out of the scene altogether, in fact, he is quite entrenched in it.
Check out the video down below that helps us to understand how Cox satisfies his need for speed when he can’t do the racing himself. With the team leader role that he’s playing, it really looks like he has nothing short of a blast every weekend that he spends out at the racetrack.
