As someone who has been around the block a couple of times, when approached with a certain situation that seems to be obscure or off-the-wall, I try and look at it from someone else’s perspective and I think that’s a valuable skill that everyone should have. Even though I consider myself to be a levelheaded person, though, sometimes, it’s incredibly hard to look at things through the scope of another person’s eyes. Different life experiences shape different people in different ways and therefore they can approach pretty much every situation with a vision that’s not the same as yours. After all, all these different perspectives are what makes life interesting, right?
Now, it seems as if, with the internet, a lot of people have taken it upon themselves to become faux-lawyers, picking up bits and pieces of the law and trying to shape it in such a way as to push along their current situation in their favor, even though sometimes, what they’re saying might not be any further from the truth. At times, sure, the wealth of knowledge on the internet can really help you learn a thing or two, even maybe a couple of things about law, however, there are some people who just really don’t get it and take it to another level In the exact wrong direction. Perhaps they spend too much time watching cat videos instead of gathering useful info.
Now, I’m not sure if this guy is trying to be a wannabe lawyer or if the drugs have just proved to be too much for him but in this confrontation, the owner of this Cadillac has a little bit of a chat with a police officer where things quickly go awry. The situation pretty much got off on an awkward foot and before we know it, the driver who is piloting this Cadillac without a license tries to convince the police officer that he’s not driving at all, but rather traveling, and that somehow they are all humans of Warth and the fact that they’re in Texas has nothing to do with the laws that should be obeyed, particularly that of needing a license to operate a vehicle, a license that he doesn’t have.
All that we can say about this one is… Far out, bro.
