Chuck From Street Outlaws Mustang on Big Tires Takes Off Like a Rocket!

Last night, Chuck successfully defended his #1 spot on the Street Outlaws Top 10, keeping himself and his badass turbocharged Death Trap Mustang atop the standings, at least for another week. When he’s not lined up on the streets of Oklahoma City, Chuck has the Death Trap out on the no-prep circuit getting in laps and laying down some solid passes, and he’s really built quite a reputation for himself since he made the swap to steamrollers out back.

Making the swap to big tires really woke up Chuck’s Mustang, allowing him to put down more of the horsepower that he had to hold back when trying to hook the car on small tires. With double the traction, he’s able to use double the power and the car is double fast! Watch the clip below from last weekends Redemption 7.0 No Prep race, held at Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX. You can see the car plants the tires and drives straight down the groove, laying down a beautiful run and taking the win over the car in the other lane. Chuck has been able to parlay this killer setup into some big wins in the no prep world and has taken the list by storm, marching straight to #1, and to be honest, making it look pretty easy, given the caliber of competition that makes up the 405 Top Ten list.

Of course, Shawn and the Murder Nova, Monza, Ryan and the Fireball Camaro and Big Chief all want to take that crown from Chuck, so it will be tough to hang on to the top spot with those gunslingers coming after it, but we’ve seen this combo work like a champ on the street as well as it does on the track, so they will have their work cut out for them.
