One false move, as history has shown us, can mean pretty expensive catastrophe, both in monetary terms and in potential bodily harm.
This time, we ride along with Dale Earnhardt Jr. as he comes nose to nose with a situation that almost ended up being filed into the catastrophe folder.
As we get a view of the car’s cockpit, we can see that the steering wheel popped off, temporarily leaving Jr. to steer with the shaft alone before popping the wheel back on!
