Brian Macy is a staple among the racing community. From tuning drag cars to speed boats, Brian is the man to talk to. Not only does he tune cars, but he’s the guy always around to help other tuners around the country. In 2002, he started the Horsepower Connection, which led to the EFI Store.
He recently made his debut driving Walt and Bucky Austin’s Black Betty twin-turbo 1941 Willys Outlaw Pro Mod! Brian Macy is our go-to guy to tune the Speed Society 1969 Camaro owned by Josh Kalis, our CBO. He’s the best in the business and the kind of guy we wanted to be connected to.
Unfortunately Brian was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. This is a blood cancer that begins in the bone marrow and is a cancer of the plasma cells. It’s not easy on him and his family as they’re going to on of the top Myeloma institutes at UAMS for treatment over the next 6 months. We’re trying to help raise some money for him and his family to cover his treatment while he continues to tune and keep cars running properly from a hospital bed. We can’t image the stress and pain on his family right now.
Help Brian get better so he can’t get back out on track and helping keep the automotive aftermarket industry tuned right! Here’s his ’66 Nova packing a small block chevy 406ci with a single 106mm turbo he’s drove to a best of 7.78 @ 181mph! Brian is a true car guy and deserves the support of his fellow car guys, including us here at Speed Society.
