As gearheads, we can’t help but love how many different manners in which one can go incredibly fast. This time, we take a ride on the wild side with Mike Finnigan as he heads to the open water. During this time of quarantine, we have watched as Finnegan has been spending his free time wrenching on his twin turbo jet boat. Not only is this thing hooked up with a pair of turbos that’ll spin out some serious boost, but it’s also boasting 711 cubic inches of fun creating power.

Over the past couple of episodes, we have been teased. We’re not going to lie. We have absolutely been waiting for the moment that the boat could go wide open. However, just like any other project, there were some tweaks to be made along the way. With something like this, you’re not going to want to crack the throttle wide open if you’re not 100% sure that it’s likely to live through the experience. The last thing Finnegan would want to do is get impatient and have to start over.

With that in mind, we have gotten some startups and half-throttle pulls to tide us over. This time, though, it’s time to really put this machine to the test. It’s the moment that we have all been waiting for as this beast of a boat really lays into it and takes us along for what’s more than just a gentle cruise.

By following along with the video below, we get to join in on the action from episode 105 of Finnegan’s Garage. I’m not sure about you guys but I think I speak for more than myself when I say that this really makes me want to get into some water sports this summer.

There’s just something about the sound combined with the pure speed that truly gets us into the swing of things here.
