The Ford GT is Back and you won’t Believe what’s Under the Hood

It seems like the return of the Ford GT has been rumored since the week after its demise all the way back in 2006. If you’re one of the hopefuls that can’t give up on this idea, then boy do we have some news for you!

Quite controversially, Ford has decided that this time instead of strapping the car up with a blatantly powerful v8, it will be a bit more refined this time with a twin turbo v6, Ecoboost style, making 600hp.

We’re not sure how the public will respond to the new power plant, but we get the hunch that they’ll still be excited that the American supercar is back in action. Ask and ye shall receive!

It will be interesting to see how this smaller cube engine is able to hold up to modification and big power numbers. Will we be seeing more small engine technology in American muscle and exotic cars in the coming years?
