When it comes to a pit road scenario, drivers and teams are scurrying, attempting to get in and out as quickly as humanly possible in order to not lose any position in the field. If they go quickly enough and hit their marks just right, they might even stand to gain a few spots.

In this particular scenario, gaining spots simply wasn’t going to happen as a couple of cars got tangled up in a pit road blunder that almost looks like it’s mere inches away from becoming something catastrophic.

When multiple cars attempt to occupy the same space at the same time, obviously things aren’t going to work out so well and we get a front row view to that theory unfolding with this video in particular.

The scramble is on and, long story short: cars end up going airborne. Luckily, nobody was injured here, but those race cars are going to need some serious attention.
